“Sunsets + Saguaros” Recap

Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) held its 104th International Convention & RV Expo, nicknamed Sunsets + Saguaros , on March 23-26, 2022. The event was held at Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona.  It was the second time FMCA has held a convention in Tucson (1985) , and the third time in the state of Arizona.

From the moment the first RVs started to arrive on-site until departure day, our attendees could definitely feel the excitement around this convention. Our Sunsets + Saguaros convention was originally planned for March of 2020 but was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Members were eager to return to the Pima County Fairgrounds for the comradery between fellow RVers and the beautiful desert landscape that surrounded the grounds.

From the educational seminars and crafts to the on-site RV displays and exhibitor halls, there was plenty of activities for everyone. The daytime and evening entertainment was very popular among the attendees too.

Each day of the convention is filled with seminars on topics ranging from technical product guides to trip planning, RV cooking, or working from the road.
FMCA raised $8,220  for Casa de los Niños a local Tucson charity during the Magic Mile walkathon and Driven to Care silent auction.
Attendees enjoyed RVer and country star, Cale Moon, on night two of evening entertainment.
RV shoppers had a selection of coaches to tour all week long with displays from some of the industry’s leading RV manufacturers.
