COVID-19 News in the RV Industry

Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak began, our staff has been receiving dozens of press releases from various other companies within the RV industry. Everyone is doing what they can to not only stay afloat during these times, but also to do their part within their communities. Many companies are stepping up and lending resources or taking other positive actions that we want to share with you.

In order to share all of this valuable information and ensure that you have access to anything that you might find helpful or informative, we will be updating this list weekly with more COVID-19 press releases from within the RV industry.

Week 3 (April 11 – April 17)

Duo Form

Duo Form announces they have launched their new DUO Intubation Boxes used to help protect medical workers on the front lines in the battle against the novel coronavirus.

Florida Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds

Sixty-two RV parks and resorts across Florida have agreed to provide a month’s worth of free housing to doctors and nurses who cannot safely stay in their own homes because of their exposure to patients with COVID-19.

RV’s for M.D.’s

A Facebook group has been created to assist medical workers who are in need of a place to quarantine themselves between shifts. Many are sleeping in sheds, on porches, or in garages to avoid spreading the virus to their children and loved ones. RV owners who are not using their RV’s are asked to donate their RV to M.D.’s in need.

Duo Form announces that amidst the COVID-19 health crisis they have been able to retool many of their production lines to create face shields to help meet the ever increasing need for personal protective gear by medical professionals.

The National Park Service has consistently been updating and maintaining a list of all NPS location closures and alerts. The National Park Service is modifying its operations on a park-by-park basis in accordance with the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local public health authorities.
